Unbeatable value and taste for a Chinese skewer place in the GTA. This is as close to $1 a skewer you'll get, and for decently sized meaty skewers as well. It's tucked away in a nondescript plaza in the Finch and Don Mills area, but once you walk in you're transported to a different place. The renovations are very hip and there was a busy vibe despite my visit being on a Monday evening. We went a bit crazy with the order, since everything was single digit prices except the veggies. For example, the lamb skewers were $6.99 for 4 - a great deal, and super delicious. I'd definitely recommend the cabbage (everyone was ordering it) and eggplant for side dishes. We spent $45 each inclusive of tax and tip, which is great considering the amount of food and drink that we ordered. Definitely could scale back next time. They have a decently generous cash discount.

Food They specialize in skewers, but we also really liked several of their main dishes. The skewers were packed with flavor and served on a small grill setup. It looks like a grill at first, but it's actually just candles underneath to keep the food warm, which was kind of funny. The jellyfish cucumber dish was surprisingly good. The name might throw you off, but it was refreshing, tasty, and very different from anything I've had before. They also serve some unique alcoholic drinks that were fun to try. Ambiance It gets quite busy during dinner, so it's best to make a reservation or come early to avoid a long wait. Service The staff were friendly, professional, and fast. They did an awesome job from start to finish.

We like to try new restaurants but most of the time get disappointed. This restaurant however gives us a very good experience from the moment we sat down. The customer service is good. Everyone is nice and quick. We came in around a busy time, but the food was ready quickly. They tasted good, kids like it, we like it. You can tell the management of the business is solid. Definitely highly recommended. It's a great restaurant.

Service once you're seated is excellent—fast, friendly, and very attentive. However, the front-of-house experience could use some improvement. Despite calling ahead (since there’s no online reservation system) and being told the wait would be 1 to 1.5 hours, we still waited an additional hour after arriving. During that time, the host kept assuring us we were next, but we saw several other parties of the same size seated before us. It was a bit frustrating and confusing, especially given how busy the place was. That said, once we were seated, everything turned around. The food was fantastic—skewers were plentiful, tender, flavorful, and had a great spicy kick. The spicy clams were garlicky and served in a huge portion. The chicken rack was fun to eat and perfect for sharing with drinks—definitely a highlight. This spot stays busy well into the night; when we left around 11:45 PM, there were still about 20 people waiting at the front. All in all, it’s a great place for tasty food and a fun atmosphere—just be prepared for a wait and a bit of a crowd at the door.

Love all the dishes!! I’m especially obsessed with the cold noodles, the spiced cabbage skewers, and the sweet and sour pork. The service and interior design here is also fantastic, I love all the vibes of this amazing restaurant !! Food was served very quickly and the staff was really kind. It’s also great for late night outings (open until 2 AM), as it was still lively when we arrived at 12:30 AM and left at 1:30 AM. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant for anyone with a good set of taste buds and an empty stomach.

My friend mentioned this place gets really busy on weekends, so we decided to come on a weekday. We still had to wait a bit for a table, though. There are so many interesting alcohol blends to share, and the traditional Chinese BBQ skewers are great. Clams is good while the scallop meat is hard but the vermicelli packed with favor.

Tried most of the bbq chicken, pork and lamb skewers as well as the squid tentacles. The garlic scallions were a bit unique to my taste but good nevertheless. Service is super and the staff are very friendly. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes (stir fry dishes and cold dishes)

Came here twice in the last 4 weeks and it was packed on weeknights! Skewers were freshly made and they ask for your preferred level of spicy. We ordered a clam squash vermicelli and it was so delicious. The customer service is great and food came quickly. I would recommend small and large groups to come and get some skewers and drinks!
